Dining at Gaj Retreat

Farm to Table Cuisine in the Heart of the Shivalik Foothills

Every property has a story. At Gaj Retreat, the story begins not with a hotel group, but with a family — and a piece of land they have called home for over a thousand years.

The Main Restaurant

A curated menu drawing on North Indian and Punjabi culinary traditions, with emphasis on fresh, locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients. The kitchen works closely with local farms to ensure what arrives on the plate reflects the region’s best.

The Bar

A curated selection of spirits, wines, and beers — alongside signature cocktails inspired by local flavours. Both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace option with views of the plateau, particularly extraordinary at sunset.

Dining Beyond the Restaurant

Bonfire Dinner by the River

Firelight, river sounds, open skies, and a specially curated menu. Available for resident guests and private groups.

Sundowner Sessions

The plateau faces west. Every evening between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, the sky does something extraordinary. Drinks, light bites, and the view.

Private Dining

For couples celebrating special occasions or corporate groups wanting an intimate experience. Garden, terrace, or restaurant corner. 48 hours advance notice.
